Would it be worth making a sticky about which suggestions have gotten in, which are likely to come and when, and which wont ever get in, for whatever reason?
I know my spelling is shaky, have fun! Shake along with it :P

That would help loads from what I've seen in my weeks of lurking these forums. A list of already suggested suggestions would mean no more useless repeats or locked forums. It would be much easier for us new people to know what we shouldn't post, compared to searching the a pile of topics, which few bother to do.

I think that the position is thus.

Virgil has outlined his plans but he is busy designing the expansion pack for CW. After that he will work on a CW2.

Right now all the suggestions that has been accepted has been implemented in the patches he sent out. Most of the changes were in the map editor, since maps have proved to be very popular, perhaps more so that he originally anticipated. And the maps are a good way to keep the game alive in the lull between CW and the expansion pack.

SO there is no real list that can be posted of accepted suggestions. And even after Virgil has firmed up what he wants to put in the expansion pack and in CW2, it would not make sense to pre-announce those and then have the endless debates that will  crop up about each feature that has not even been implemented.

Edited to add link.

So why not a list of commonly suggested threads just for the sole sake of people knowing there's already a thread on that subject, maybe even linking it so those discussions could be continued easily?

Because such a list would never be comprehensive, and because search isn't that hard to use?

Also, having a sticky pretty much guarantees that people won't read it.

I've just added this link to my previous post.

When you put it that way, yeah, I guess it is not worth it. Not to mention it would need to be kept up with and would get tediously long itself. Search would eventually be easier anyways  ::)
