Speed training map, if you do not beat this map within about 2.12 then you have lost. All you have is collectors and nullifiers. This series is intended to push you and make you a faster player, it may not be suitable for beginners. Full map guide and speed running tips are available on the forum. Map at the request of Pusillanimous aka Good Morning.

To beat this map you will need to make the most of the lowland and place a network of collectors on the terrain of height 1. If you do not do this then you will not have enough power to charge the nullifiers.

Start by placing one collector and then un-pausing. As soon as the 5th packet leaves the CN place your second and third collectors. Once they have built start building two or three more. Repeat until you have mostly covered all level 1 terrain.

Place your three nullifiers and connect to network with a collector.

Sit back and pray!

General Tips:

Try not to overlap your collectors as they will not gather any extra energy.

You can place collectors right next to your CN and they will harvest energy from the land that is under the CN. This can be valuable on tight maps.

Plan your network and your route. Whilst paused you can lay out collectors to work out where you want units. Then delete them and start your game.

Keep your energy in the positive. This is the most important rule in the game. The CN bar at the top of your screen shows your energy production and storage. The left hand number should be 0 and the right hand number should be positive with a green background. When I am building quickly those numbers will flicker between 0 and -1 on the left hand side and 0 and 1 on the right hand side. If the left hand side drops below -1 then building slows down and you are not building efficiently. If the number on the right hand side starts to climb then you have unused energy. You are not speed running!

You do not need to pause to win this map but have a finger over the tab button just in case.

Wow! I'm surprised that there's such a concise but helpful tutorial for new-to-newish players on the power of collectors!

I'm also surprised that I got the 2nd highest score on my first attempt  :o but I'm guessing that's because this map was made when we were all fairly newbish.

If you struggle with not getting overrun early in a game, this map will help you improve your game.

And - although it's a complete coincidence - it will also increase the ratings of the maps you play!  ;)

Thanks for the map!  ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

Yeah this was an idea I quickly gave up on, a speedrunning tutorial. I think it came from a request, short lived vanity project!  ;D
