At 2:42, this is the situation. Now I have to wait around for 17:18 to get to be counted as "complete"?

That's just not right.

If the pod of greenar happens to get nuked by a missile in the first few minutes of the game, you might not notice it until you've completed every other objective and then start wondering why you are missing a required objective. Maybe throw a greenar mother on the far end of the map, if you don't want people to have access to it early on. But having the only source be a destructible item can put the map into an unwinnable state.
