Desc:
Combines a variety of techniques: maze, cap emitters with blaster, cap emitters in pool with mortar, and spores. You will have a long time before you have to worry about spores but by the fourth wave they are intense and you will need many SAM's.

That became intense.. It should have been shorter for me, but going down the last isle to get the totem, a spore got through and knocked my grid out.. :o
Knocked be back to the beginning of the maze, but I fought back and got it.. Could have restarted, but by then, it was the principal of it..

First time about 11 minutes, second try was much better as I figured several ways to improve. I think it could be possible to push beyond 8 minutes, but not by much.

First try I was pretty close to 8 minutes, but there were a couple times that I failed to optimize things, and once I accidentally disconnected over half the chain and didn't notice it for several seconds.  I'm going to try again to see if I can get a bit faster :)

Argh, you made me try it again, damn you. Too much juggling, but now the time is hard to beat. I think if I use same strategy, with optimal juggling (=no mistakes) I might get close to 6 minutes. Now I lost the link couple of times.

How the heck do you do this in less than 20 minutes?  There must be one move i am missing....

the easy way to do it in less than 20 minutes: instead of trying to build a chain of collectors, make a chain of blaster-collector-blaster-collector where possible.  since you can build the blaster anywhere and move it into position, this will cut the time to build in half. 

to get an insanely low time: have a blaster/mortar fly over a wall, so the connection can jump over the walls.  may also cause intense lag.
