The primary combat ship of the Aecis fleet, the Layphor is well rounded in most forms of combat, excluding countering electromagnetic assaults. However, the short range of its weapons due to their positioning holds it back from long-range assaults on fortified positions. However, it excels at defence with strong armour and many point defence lasers.
