I know this is an older map but for those of you who love to do no-pause maps, I think you'll like this one. It's pretty fast - only takes about 5-10 minutes real-time.

Such a cool concept! Thanks for the map!  ;D ;D

Wow, That was a fun little map, Thanks for pointing this out.

Pauseless maps are the only ones IMO where scores actually have a value. I watched well skipped thru a video yesterday of a 10 min speed run, But it was paused so much the actual play time was over an hour. that hour score should be his real time. The 10 mins time is IMO not really valid, Now play that same map and make a video of it with out pausing or limiting pauses to 10 mins and see what the actual time is? I know some people find value in scores when you have paused the game but it's not for me.

lol, yeah I'm with ya, m8. I might pause one of those 1-minute speedrun maps, or when it's just crazy difficult but I prefer to play straight through. But I guess it's a difference of playing games like chess as opposed to a RTS game like Starcraft. Sorrontis made at least one really decent no-pause map.

I'm just hunting around for cool maps like this... if I come across another one I'll post something. There are some very skillful hard-working mapmakers in this game, a fact for which I'm immensely grateful.

Cheers!

(And if you're reading this and haven't given this map a run, it's well worth it!)

Indeed pretty fun

With free rapid-reload bertha's available there is little reason to go for a frontal assault, just drop everything straight into the back, once you manage to get that first PZ and a shield / some weapons + continue'd bertha support it goes down pretty fast.

Especially since this map does not use energy, it's quite a difference in skill, mostly fast clicking and micro-managed required.
Speedruns with pause generally come down to using every energy / unit as efficiently as possible.
