under attack from all sides, gotta be pretty fast or die.

tons of creeper, 2000/0.03 emitters and spores make this look like a very slow grind map, and thus the low ratings, but there are a few tricks that can speed things up;

- you can land a CN in the top-right, but since the anticreep drains a lot of power it's best not to build a forge there.
- don't nullify the anti-creep emitters in the middle!
- send guppies over to the right islands pretty early, like around 4-6 min.
- you can land a guppy in creeper at the bottom-right, just make sure it doesn't die. eventually the area becomes anticreep.
- hovering CN with at least 100+ energy (anticreep emitters) and 2 mass drivers can pick up a thor.
- mass drivers insta-kill all creep, and you get a lot of them.
- thor + mass driver + hovering CN = GG inhibitor

Lousy time;  fun map :)


For the life of me, I have no idea how someone got a 20 minute time.  Anyway...  I'll look closer

I tried two strategies that failed. I can hold neither the central "safe" zone (regardless of whether I take out the nearby emitters), nor can I maintain positions on the far right. time is just too short.

Any advice  or a 5-10 minute screenshot?

I must say, that even if I take either of those two positions, I don't see my way through to the rest of the map (and all of thatjust for factories making Mass drivers - my least favorite AoO. ;)

Ended up shaving another 2 min off to 18:27, probably can be done even faster because i built a thor and didn't really use it.... 2000/0.03 emitter too strong for thor

Having some fun with this one.
What are the two "M" structures at the bottom right?
I'm connected with PZ Relays and feeding in lots of power, but don't see any result.

I saw them keep popping up into orbit (30+ final total), but wasn't sure if there wasn't something else going on.

Yeah, this one was MASSively fun (cough cough)  ::)

Great map as always - I didn't do the "normal" thing on this map because I'd need to move fast and that can be annoying. Want to start on the right side instead?

Just land CN's on the top and bottom right. Build a forge on the bottom right but watch your energy drain. As you're able, power up the totems. Get your energy level up and toggle the totems off and on so you can still keep the emitter from producing too much creep

"Wait a minute!" you ask? "What about defenses? You'll die from spore attacks! AAAAH!"

Psssh. No. Spores don't target the forge on this one. So once you get max energy and 2-3 range, build, fire-rate upgrades - whatever you want - you can build some beams, reactors, and then just go at it.

Warning: This method will get you a very slow time, but it's pretty easy and you don't need to pause, save, or do much of anything. Once the Inhibitor's creep gets close, just use maybe 50 bombs and clear the area. It's fun that way. Gotta love 'em!
