Holy **** this one kicked my butt! I even managed to think I had a foothold there, but nope. The clouds just come too fast and eat too much beam ammo!
Currently watching: ARIA, Dog Days, and other unlikely things.
And some likely things, too!

Great fun!
I had a hard time figuring out how to last through those first massive Spore attacks, but had a good time getting there.
Thanks,

It took me a while to figure out that initial survival.
Spoiler
I think the only way to hold on is to get a Beam on a PZ.

Nah, that's not necessary, or even all that helpful.  Multiple Beams are way better at taking down clouds than a PZ Beam.  Nullify the emitter near the start and put a Reactor on it.  Then start flooding the corner with always-on Sprayers to get some AC clouds heading out to support you.  Use the energy siphons to build up as many reactors as you can.  You can nullify the emitter across the small gap to the southeast, then put a Cannon on it in order to take over that area.  Also, Berthas are 100% your friend in this mode.  Put them on auto-target to severely limit the amount of cloud buildup.  From there, it's just a matter of letting your own clouds do most of the heavy lifting, while putting 4-5 beams around everything you build.

Well, I guess we all get to express an opinion...even if it's somewhat less than cordial.
My score is plain to see, but I can't see yours listed anywhere.
You have any screen captures along the way to show us how you worked your technique?

I never bother submitting scores.  And there was nothing non-cordial about my reply.  It's not really that helpful to put a Beam on a PZ since there are so many clouds with so much health it can't keep up nearly as well as multiple Beams supported by a Reactor on the same PZ.  I've attached a screenshot of the last save I made, as well as a screenshot of my time.  I won from there.  This map has 20 scores posted and a rating of 5.21, which is crazy low for one of Yum's maps, which means people are having trouble beating the map.  I only suggested what I have experienced to be a better use of the PZs than Beams.  I've beaten each of Yum's cloud maps and in all but one, Reactors were way more effective than Beams on the first few PZs, at least until you have a large power supply.
