Just restarted for the 5th time, amazing level, really well done.

I need some help here. I can't last more than 10 minutes, and then I still die. :( that's insane. I tried both destroying and preserving the emitters on the digitalis, that has no effect - that field in the middle swamps me either way.  I can't maintain all 4 islands, and I can't stop the creeper breaking the connections between the islands. So any clues would be greatly appreciated (before I open the map in the  editor to see if there are clues in there).

Definitely one of the worthier levels in a long while.

Hi Karsten. My method took me about 6 or 7 restarts to get right so prob not for everyone.

I took out the two opposite emitters and quickly terped them to level 2 and then put a cannon on each one. Taking out two in this way allows the digitalis to remain. In time you need bertha to blast the middle as this stops the overflow. They had to be supported by two mortors and in time another two and some cannons. It was not easy. There is no chance of connecting the opposite sides and I lost one corner.

The easiest way would be

Just take one emitter, terp to 2 and place cannon. Support with 2-4 mortors and 4 cannons until a bertha is active. give up on the opposite two islands. Build reactors over beams as you have time until spores come.

You could possibly have one island with just a forge, a few reactors and two cannons with a ditch at both sides terped to 1.

Thanks for the pointers. I'll give it another show. For some idiotic reason, I thought those emitters were in the void... :(
