Anyway, I never saw a use for the beams.  I couldn't find anything they would fire on.

I took out a few outer emitters for the tech.  I sent a beam in near the center to see if it would target it, it didn't.  I then went for the center by land.

When you take out more from the outer emmys, the center starts to shoot spores...
