For whatever reason (the name maybe? :P), this map inspired me to try my hand at speedrunning, and much to my surprise I ended up with the top time. I found the progression I took very interesting—from gross strategy changes (skipping the omnis, gems, and ultimately even ships altogether in favor of just doing everything with the HQ) to fine micro-optimizations (destroying the energy pods to save lathe time, trading off between various techs and amping the HQ, and tweaking the HQ position to the left so it actually kills the left emitter first, rather than wasting a second of lathe time on it before killing the right one, then switching back—though this also makes lathe usage much more efficient while rock burning, which is probably the main cause of the improvement). I did my part trying to raise the rating...
