The name of this map is the name of an older german board game, In English, a similar game is "Ludo" but the translation of the title would be something like "man, don't get angry"... This said, you should get yourself an extra portion of patience and maybe have a look what happens before you start with a costly setup - if not you probably get angry before the game really started. Have fun!

Wow, that was quite a battle! Fantastic map once again, you have truly become a Master Map Maker in my humble opinion!

GoodMorning

I had a good time. I especially liked what was essentially a capturable wall, and the sheltering effect inside it. The Runner AC was amusing to note, though there wasn't much effect.

I'm not so happy about the fourfold symmetry, though it is better for the game board effect you were working with. The 600 Emitters with that many Berthas are also irritating, although it forced me to use a different trick. I don't think the CRPLed dice added much.

However, if I were a speed runner and didn't have as much accumulated Creeper to blast through, my opinion would likely be different.

Thanks a lot to both of you!
GoodMorning, the symmetry was needed for /this/ map, it will not get a trademark of mine ;)
You are right that four berthas are overpowered for a 600 emitter but as you get them one by one (at least I had to take them pretty slowly) I didn't think it was too much, when you can get to the corners the map is IMHO essentially beaten - YMMV!
And, D0m0nik, once again I have really no idea how to beat that map in such a short time - did you manage to get a bertha early on or have you taken out anything else but the amt 5 emitters in the beginning?

Overpowered?

I took each corner after first claiming the Bertha for it, but I also had some serious Forge upgrades behind me by the time I felt ready to advance. However, if I had felt like playing fast, I would have taken the later three before going for the first corner.

I suspect D0m0nik used a CN drop to grab two (three? all four?) Berthas before  they were first swamped, then expanded on all fronts and used a lot of AC. A safe space to roll out Reactor fields can do wonders for a speedrun also, and with the kind of energy generation /firepower required for the corner assaults, the interior fortress probably had space to continue building units during the assault. Knocking out the Runner Nests early would also probably help.

I leave the game on 4x, which - on this map - meant 11fps for a large part.

Oh, one other thing: please warn us when you mess with unit costs.

Spoiler
I did not get anything early but took out the three inner AC emitters and put reactors on them, I then used two CNs to power totems and kept re-landing them. Remember, power is god!

The emitters around the 'track' are all easy to take as you can place a nullifier on safe land next to them all.

I had four sets of 2 strafers to aid with taking some of the emitters as they can cut the digitalis.

I took all 4 corners at the same time, one bertha for each and a load of units. I cut a path to the corners with the berthas and used the units to keep the line clear, it was actually a bit tricky to manage./spoiler]

Nice work D0m0nik, I didn't think of flying in CN to power the totems.

I think you would probably shave 5 mins off your time with that Willbur. Did you take out any AC emitters for PZs? I suspect we have quite similar approaches to most maps!

I often do but this time I left them, I wasn't sure if long term the PZs were worth more than the AC.

@D0m0nik: Okay, that makes sense, nice that the map can be played in different ways

@GoodMorning: I try to think about announcing the unit costs next time.

In general, I play with one front at one time most of the time - Here I cleaned the inner part first and after getting all berthas I went to the corners one by one - slow but satisfying.
