Sorry, but one cannon shot in the wrong place and this explodes. I like the rest of the idea.

Yes. Very weak "head" of ship.

Yes, i know.
Normally i go "form follows function" but this one should primarly look nice and resamble a Hammerhead.
It just felt wrong with additional armor because it then grows so much in size and doesn't look like a small fighter anymore.

And it saves cost, so you can throw a whole squadron on a dangerous mission without support on other side of map.  :P

Reminds me of a romulan warbird... also had a weakness at the head
