that's what i thought when i first saw it. but here is what you do
Spoiler
You start in the obvious spot then quickly nullify the closest spore tower. then move your base to the power zone. then you can place a cannon on the original start point. as well as some space for a beam tower or 2. from there it is simply nullifying the spore towers

Just replace the CN when it dies.

Sometimes the CN can be stunned by runners, sometimes it isn't. Not sure why this is.

I found if a CN is getting stunned, to send that CN back to orbit and send a different one down, and usually the 2nd one doesn't get stunned. It seems like a bug in CW3 somewhere.

I just got 6:03 and feel like there's nothing I could do to improve my time. How are you all getting these < 5 minute times?

Spoiler
I dropped the CN in the first spot, nullified the closet tower, dropped a reactor in the PZ, nullified the 2nd tower, then dropped a 2nd CN on that PZ and branched top-left/bottom-right from there. Also built one PC (to block the digitalis from the reactor) and one SAM (placed on the 3rd PZ to stop the one spore than managed to get off). When the first CN returns to orbit, replace it with the 3rd.

Awesome, Grayzzur. I never thought of that extra strategy.

Now you need to go and take away my spot on the scoreboard.  ;D

I just put CNs on the first two PZs, and never built any weapons.

Still wondering how ea3401 gets some of these scores.  I feel like there must be some micro trick.

Well, I got close. Breaking 4 is gonna be tough.

What's the point about caffeine here?

I built a guppy and nullified towers until it died.  At that point I dropped a CN on one of the PZ, but a beam and moved it to another PZ.  Power it, continue nullifying.  Not the fastest but not one bit hard, unlike what I normally expect from a Pastor.Healer map.
