Desc:
In an alternate timeline, the crew did not choose to go into redacted space; instead, it is a freak accident that sends them right into the middle of it, badly damaging their database and drive in the process. Of course, it's rift space. Naturally, this means it's not really an accident. (if the text for the useless spiral ship isn't working, it's supposed to be coordinates for a short-range jump)
