Early, it says the Loki were discovered to be the source race AFTER the events of CW2, but the Loki were mentioned to have started it as early as the end of CW1. Is this contradictory?

The history, as they have it, has been passed through 144 generations.  It stands to reason some of it might have been altered over time, either on purpose or my accident.
You might also note the executive summary says nothing about the alien race in CW2.
