Rock Burner

I don't remember seeing it myself, but did any mission ever point out rock burner? If not, people might not think about on missions where it can be useful on. The ones that all friendly emitters (well, at least the flip ones on what we have now) might have people (like me because I forgot it exists) not even use it, and basically make them think grabbers are useless at some point.

It does help, but is a specialist tool. I avoid it, because rock is not replaceable. That said, sometimes it is the only practical way.

I believe it's essential in Missions 14 and 15 where there are emitters inside rock "donuts" - if you need the friendly particles, you need to chew some rocks... :)

while true, I belive the op says the game really does not explain rock burner to the player, unless i miss it myself. in fact, my first time through stage I did not remember about rock burner, till I replayed the mission and remember from one of the demo videos about removing the rocks

When you click on Tech, it pulls up the window with the options you can select to put gems in. Next to the item name is a small question mark that you can click on, a window opens with a very good description of the tech in question, The rock burner description is there with a good explanation of how to use it.

True, but I guess till mission 14 with the trap particle, it almost never seem like a good idea to use, but I guess that also the fun thing is discovering on your own too.
