CW3 Play as Creeper digitalis not showing up

I've noticed recently that the white digitalis is not showing up anymore on play as creeper maps. I can put it down and when the creeper is deep enough, it will turn blue, but it's invisible until then. Is this a change within the game or a bug?

I'm guessing you hit shift-d which turns the diqitalis display off. Or you can look in the top left corner and hit the button and you should see multiple options. Toggle the one which says digitalis something.
