Hard. At least until you have secured a corner, then it becomes fairly easy.

I helped myself to some useful stuff at the start - don't know how I would have managed otherwise - was creeper was close to spilling into my fort anyway.

I agree with RrR, no idea how I would have done it without collecting two techs at the start. I guess this is intentional?

I used all power zones for reactors and then built about 20 or so mortors. You should note that the runners are very juicy so try to avoid having your mortors hit the digitalis area where possible. Collect the early terp and fill in the gaps of your defensive wall using one PZ.

I don't see how to collect the techs.  The Thor is easy--but useless.  By the time you can build it it's no longer a game changer.  The others I can't get to nearly fast enough.  Beat it anyway.
