A prototype of an endurance map type, which might bring back memories of Creeper World Evermore, Survival. Your score is based largely on the length of time you can wait before still winning. Please do take to the forums to give feedback.

This will probably be hated by some, and hopefully loved by others.

Tip: build a Nullifier, and disarm it until you're ready.

The terrain in the middle was roughened using CRPL, if anyone wants the script, they can have it.

Thoughts?

Nice idea, I like the challenge of who can last the longest, I was just off you first go round.

I think the smaller map is essential on this, I think you got the size about right. It would be good to have different terrain heights set to different colours though.

I would also include a small packet of aether, perhaps about 200-300. Adds another dimension, do you prioritise power, fire rate, range??? etc

Would be worth making the emitter ramp up a bit quicker as well to speed things up, ideally a strong player is fully set up by about the 15 min mark so perhaps aim for around the 20 min completion mark otherwise it is a long game on 4 speed.

Using the MAP mode template (from Builder17) with inverted scoring, you can make survival mode work out quite well. Just check if the pre-built units are still alive and 'win' the map once they're all gone.

Scoring seems to not be working right ...   :(

GoodMorning

I'm after full control, and nothing prebuilt, so MAP is not, I feel, the solution I am looking for.

Good idea on the Aether, it does add something.

I agree about the terrain colouring, and the size was mostly a shot in the dark.

I would make it harder, but I am not, I believe, a "strong player". I already upped the power of the Emitter once in testing.

The scoring is not normal. Specifically, the managing core awards 500 points per game frame elapsed, upon victory. This overcomes the normal scoring system lowering scores as time goes on. I will need to tune it a bit, though, it seems.
