CreeperWorld 2 Failed to launch

I not-so-recently bought CreeperWorld2 and have been attempting to install it.

As i go through the startup everything is fine until it begins the installation. It pauses a moment then says "Sorry, an error has occurred."   "The application failed to launch or re-launch properly."

I have attempted running as an administrator. The only thing i have noticed so far is that if I deselect the "launch on install" and "create shortcut" then the application installs but there is nothing in the files. I would really like to get this game working, and am up for (almost) any solutions that people think will work.

Do the normal full reboot if you have not already.  That can fix about half of the install problems.
If that doesn't work, then try installing adobe air first.  You can get it from here:

The reboot did not help and i have the most recent adobe air already on my machine. I attempted running the launcher both on and off of a flash drive to see if that would change anything and it did not. I feel like this will be a tough problem to fix as the error message is quite vague.

Send me an email at support@knucklecracker.com and I'll hook you up with the .air file you can use to install.  Alternatively if you are up for it you can open then installation exe using a zip utility (or just rename it to .zip and explorer will open it).  Inside that exe is CreeperWorld2...air.  That's the file you want to extract and then double click.  Since you already have adobe air installed, double clicking will 'run' the air file and proceed to install the game.
