I got it without picking up the main weapons cache until the game was effectively over.  I built Thors but only used them as unstunnable snipers, I didn't need the firepower.


Update:  Took another stab at it--all the loot can be gotten with a pre-emptive strike with the CNs.  I had a third of the enemy base before the Thors were ready, once again I simply used them as snipers.
