The emitter didn't connect to the digitalis. The picnic lunch was tasty, though. ;D

Well, I'm glad you noticed. I moved that thing around a few times and couldn't get it to fire? I even
removed it and then put a new one in its place. Still wouldn't send out the little bugs. Don't know
what went wrong. I checked to make sure there weren't any breaks in the lines and there weren't.

The emitter must be directly connected to the digitalis in order to activate it. Otherwise, the creeper doesn't plug in. At least one emitter has to be touching the digitalis threads. Think of it like plugging an electric cord in the wall. The emitter is the outlet and the digitalis is the cord. In this map, your digitalis was never plugged in.

And of course, runner nests operate on live digitalis, not pools of creeper. Without the live digitalis touching the nest, it'll never create runners.
