Is this Loss?

The spore towers never fired.  (Could this be related to the fact that I never used the mortars?)

Also, all that digitalis in the base is meaningless, it's easy to put cannons in the few spots it enters.

I had the opposite problem. Towers worked fine, but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do with those forward mortars/catapults.

I assumed they worked like mortars I've seen elsewhere--they take in creeper/anti-creeper and fire it.  They have a fixed aim point.  I felt the AC was better used for bombers--more concentrated.

the catapults work like they did in my other maps, but multiplty the creeper/ac by 20
they also have multiple targets each

Neither of the custom pieces did anything.
Not sure what it took.
All were connected with Collectors and I tried spraying AC on them.
Finally gave up and just took out the Inhibitor with Cannons, Mortars, and Sprayers.

Catapults worked fine for me.

Not sure what that factory thing was supposed to do though. I covered the thing in AC and waited while it slowly went up to 100% then it just started counting over again while nothing discernible happened.

There is no usable information in your comment. "How" do they work? What does the player have to do to activate them?

If I'm remembering the map correctly it makes artifacts.

Sorry. I thought it had already been established that we had to flood them with AC to make them operate.
If not then that's how the work. just place a sprayer next to each one and set it on "always on". As soon as they are fully surrounded they will begin firing AC at the enemy side of the map.

Still no idea what the factory does. As I said before. I covered the thing in AC and it started counting percentage completion (very very slowly). I was easily able to completely destroy all the creeper on the map long before it reached 100% so i deliberately held off till it got there. When it reached 100% it just started over at zero again. I searched the map for anything that had changed but wasn't able to find anything different at all.

OK I figured it out. It does make artifacts. Once the timer cycles to 100% it spawns an artifact in the center of itself. We then have to connect to it and charge it with green packets to release the artifact.
