I like the first bit a lot  but after you've got the dark beam it's all a bit of a chore

I didn't use the dark beam at all. Where did you use it? I found a bank of blasters and the odd C-bomb to be more than enough.

I finished it but couldn't find the tiny bit of creeper left, even with the bar on the right.  Might sit down and have another look but it was late and I'd already wasted time trying to find it.  Apart from that was a fun level.

had the same problem, until i realised that the 3rd chamber on the top right had bars of black creeper in it, just inside the entrance from the rightside. hope that helps  8)

Played it twice. Once with DB and once with C-Bombs.
Will have another go at it - much fun!
