ETF20: The End of the End Unknowing the affect of their own actions, the Loki once more appear to destroy everything. It's time to finish this. Defeat the Loki and send the Colony Ship back in time.

First Off, I have enjoyed the series as a whole. But to be honest this map was a bit of a disapointment. Maybe its just because there was some method to the map that I didn't figure out.
Best of luck with your game,

I might have promised fool proof, but I never promised user proof.

This map is elegant in its simplicity. Took me quite a while to figure it out, but once I did, I got around 16 minutes. To really get into the low time range, you have to find the weakest spot and attack there. Which can be really hard to find on a map as open as this.
A hint, to those who want it.
Spoiler
When you have limited mirrors, placing the Dark Beam in the right spot is crucial.

Without question, some of the earlier maps in this series were among the best produced in CW2. Unfortunate that the series ends like this.

The main problem is myself. At the beginning I used all my greatest ideas. But as the series went on I found little inspiration for myself. That is why the time between releases grew. I couldn't think of anything.

At the point of 20 and B, I wanted to finish the series, just so it could be done. Some will like what resulted, some won't.

Should I continue with a season 2, you'll see a very different release style then what the ETF series had.

ETF - I am serious about the high quality of your maps. Some of them rank among the all-time greatest on CW and I have lost count of how many times I have re-played those.

As you know, the vast majority of maps get only one play - MAYBE 2 or even 3.

Very few map makers have been able to come up with interesting single games, and only a handful with a great series.

I don't know if it will help you to 'buddy-up' with someone to pre-play your new games, or brainstorm some concepts, or what...but I honestly hope that you will continue putting that brain to work - for the enjoyment of all the rest of us.

Thanks for what you have done.

I believe my greatest mistake was moving away from Faux Nexuses.

Without the one central theme in which to focus a level on.

That said. ETFB was going to be like that anyway.

I'd appreciate a further spoiler on this - currently i have a dark beam going straight across and hitting the far right generator, which is depleting it but will take about an hour, it's kind of boring waiting for it to get slowly worn down.

Don't attempt to destroy the emitters. You'll be at it all day.  :o Remember; it's an acquisition mission.

I was able to clear creeper sufficiently to get the first two items by using conversion bombs. (Be sure you build as many reactors as you have room for and a few blasters set to drones only first.) For the nanochips over on the right side you'll have to use a dark beam; so it's probably faster to just beam yourself a path right to the objects to be retrieved. (I think some conversion bombs first to reduce the creeper coverage and make a path for packets to the right side is essential.) For the nanochips; ignore the emitter and go for the gateway. It'll take several rounds to kill the gateway; then another couple to charge the nanochips. I had to build another mirror after each round; never could get one back out.
Power. Power! I must have more POWER!
