I really want to buy this game. But I'm concerned when I downloaded the demo. It said the game has unlimited access to my computer. That makes me a little nervous. Why does it need unlimited access?

It means it's allowed to acsess program files. Trust me, if you're downloading Creeper World 1 or Creeper World 2 from KnuckleCracker.com it's perfectly fine. There is no viruses or anything.
Never trust a computer that doesn't fit through your nearest window.

Adobe AIR shows the message just so you are aware that what is being installed is a system application, not some sand-boxed web app.  Some AIR apps can be installed directly from a web page, so this warning lets people know what is going on.

I could send you a word document that would delete all files on your harddrive. People fail to realise how much power a simple word document can contain.
Most programs that require anything to happen actually require access to alot of potentially dangerous system commands, and in the end the best protection you have is sound judgement.

That said, I have never had any problems with KnuckleCracker software.
Best of luck with your game,

I might have promised fool proof, but I never promised user proof.

Thanks for the info. By the way, Air is an interesting choice for distributing the software. Are they using Air as an installer, or is the program running inside of air?

knucracker

The exe installer just uses the sidecab AIR installer... so it will use AIR if that is already on your system or put AIR there first if not.
