Uh, I had problems starting with this one.

Spoiler
The creeper exploding out of that bubble stirred up hell for me, but with a wall of shields backed up by some repulsors and blasters, I was just able to hold my ground. After that it was pretty easy.

Fast action with shields is the key here. Then you outflank the enemy.  ;) (On my winning plays I never had creeper reach the surface.)
Power. Power! I must have more POWER!

Man, I'm having such a hard time with this one. Can anyone give me an idea how to place the shields? No matter what I try it does not help.

Oh, wow! Worked like a Charm. Though I still have no idea how you got so much built in just 1+ minute. Amazing!

Thanks for the tip. I can now move on to the rest of the maps.

Energy is the key to almost every game you play (obvious statement, I know). When you start building your reactors, "slow is fast". Only start a new one when it won't put your energy in deficit. Within a few seconds the compounding effects of the previously built reactors will allow you build new ones much more quickly.

Learn the approximate times to build other structures and weapons and never build anything but reactors until the last possible second.

Most of the players at the very top of this game are glad to share knowledge with those just starting.
Good luck!

i'm having issues with this one even with the spoiler!
i just get swamped and the creeper breaks through the decayable ceiling.
can i get the creeper pinned in the shaft? is that a good plan?
is the idea just to rush down?
help please!!!
