Bug: Cannot remove map from custom maps list

I just downloaded and played this map:

After this, I cannot remove it from the list of custom maps anymore. It asks "Delete custom map?" and when I click "Yes" nothing happens.

After more experimentation, I believe this may be caused by a read-only attribute on the map file. Apparently, if the file had the read-only attribute set at the time of importing, it can never be removed, even if I unset the read-only attribute on the file.

Try to delete the map from the disk where it was saved first ,
then you might be abel to delete it from the game .
I dont know if it workes , but worth a try .

Perhaps Virgil might pop in and tell us whether there is a specific saved data file in the AppData directory that holds the names of the Custom maps. If so if one deletes that directory, one might delete the list of custom maps without losing the game (story, conquest and Specal Ops) progress.

There is a "customgames" directory under the CreeperWorld data directory, so on XP it is here:
"c:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application Data\CreeperWorld\customgames"

That customgames directory contains all of the custom game files that you have imported.  Note that they will have 'random' names.  So to find the one you want to get rid of you would need to look for the one that is the same size as the file you downloaded.  Sorting the files by time will also show the files in the same order that they appear within the game.  You can also differ the files against whatever you downloaded.  If you want something to diff files and just be all around awesome for managing files, Total Commander ( http://ghisler.com ) is your friend. (Anybody remember Norton Commander for DOS? :) )
