What was that!? And why is all of tech gone!?

I don't know, but whatever it was, it is here too, on Helix..., and on our last rift all of out tech is gone exept for relays, strange... we should try to pick them up.
Thing is... did someone prepare for them... and could you not let that thing over the edge?
