What is double dawn mode?and how does it get activeded?

I have heard people talk about it.

double down mode is received once you unlock all the medals, i.e. beat every map, it lets you play all the maps with all emitters emitting at half their normal interval, so if an emitter ussually spawns creeper every second, now it's every half second

Loki isn`t a big problem on dd, some other maps are waaaaay worse.
