well i beat it, definatly not a pretty score, and i'm not sure how much faster i could do it, congradulations to those that can knock this out in about an hour or less.

Can anyone tel me how to start?

I started by building five Collectors ( One in range of the first upgrade coin), three Blasters, and two Reactors. I then built up to five Reactors and built a Mortar. I constantly deactivated it and re-activated it. You must do that to keep the Blasters functional on the upper ridge that you start on. That's as far as I got. The rest is really up to you. It is a very time consuming process, though. Great level. I've always liked challenges.
