The Ogun 2.0, designed by its namesake, is an improvement over its predecessor. His magnum opus, this ship sports a massive generator core protected by a wide assortment of weapons. On defense, the Ogun 2.0 is all but impervious: able to wade into the thickest and battles even with limited support. Indeed, the integrated lathes and dischargers do most of the supporting. With this mighty weapon, has Ogun found the key to defeating the particulate threat?

Such a massive ship takes over 10 minutes to build probably. So no, this won't counter the particulate threat. In battle, it either won't get the time to build or isn't very needed.

Maybe if it was a little bit smaller and had more than just one discharger, it might work out.
