Interesting unit.  Not really proximity-sensitive as was described in the ADA log.

Can also be cheesed a bit with bombers.  I was able to get the farthest unit that was holding onto 44K creeper to release while I was clearing the second dark tower because I threw a squadron of bombers at it.  Didn't pose much of a threat after that.
