The statement that you'll need all of your resources to win isn't accurate - I used only 2.5% of the available energy, and I'm sure some more efficient players did it with less.

I think it's possible to nullify and overload all emitters before the nullifier fail kicks in at roughly 6:00, though i didn't quite manage it - I only cleared 5 of the 7 pathways.  (I had everything nullified, but some of the nullifiers didn't finish overloading.)
