My first try at a map in years. Helper's DMD map modified with prebuilt base with amp nodes for Berthas and Superguppies. thank Helper and Yum for such awesome gameplay!

Thanks for the comments. The YumGuy got me started on the DMD stuff, and now I'm hooked.
Nice changes to the map.
Now that I have a functioning GPU, I'll give it a go.

I was so confused, I thought I was making a DMD map (the only other map I ever made was DMD) but when I was done, all I could do was upload to the Colonial Space. I'm really out of touch with how this works!

That's funny!
I was trying to figure out how to create a CS map and ended up camping out in the DMD space.
One of these days I'll try to figure CS map-making out.

Very good balanced gameplay.  Engoyed to play this map.
DMD so interesting that possible to make main part of map and then correct it into very interesting gameplay map.
10/10 from me. Bravo and Good lu, CDS!

Excellent, so glad you guys liked it.
Most of the credit has to go to Helper, who created the original map, and just the concept where "this is the safe place to build, and over here is the enemy"
My additions were of course, the "base of operations", adding many more spore towers and emitters, and taking advantage of Helper's terrain running up the right hand side to add another level of required ground combat due to the addition of antiaircraft towers.

And of course to Yum who appears to have pioneered the gameplay that leaves you with what is a false sense of security, because you HAVE NO TIME because Spores are coming and only AoO will get you out of that sticky mess!

I'm impressed to see that according to some of the scores I believe some were able to beat it before any spore towers launched! I was NOT able to do that on my play through.

And then there are those that fight it out on the ground the whole way,.
I have to admit, when I fist came across your AoO  maps, I had not yet realized that 1- a guppie can take a long dunk into creep and survive, 2- nor had I figured out how to combine the conversion/freeze with a guppie nullifier air strike. I spent a lot of time instead rushing to build laser towers to fight off spore, and then going in with a slow ground assault. that too can be fun, but it takes 5-10x as long!
