Wonderful, I absolutely love the concept, i must have missed your first one with these crystal breeders, will be looking for it.
Also, i think the "breed speed" is pretty good aswell, it can make missions really difficult if you don't pay attention to them but they are(at least to my eyes) equally powerful with AC so it's fair.

Hmm... for me, they didn't add much. Just like any strong emitter, but they were easy to deal with using a few mortars.
