Any hints? Keep getting overrun by the spores. Initially started at the left bottom corner. I am able to take out 2 spore towers in the area and the 2 emitters northward. Also took out the 2 towers in the islands with no creeper. But around the 5th or so spore attack (most if not all towers have been activated) there's just too many and my beams can't keep up. By the way is there any way to tell which towers are friendly?

EDIT: Nevermind, they fired up once you build your first building.

Here is a screen grab of my starting place.
From here I went all the way right, then up, then all the way back left.

What do you mean 'disable' Spore Towers?
Did you find a way to turn them off?

Thanks H. I guess I'm sort of on the right track, Just need to be quicker. I left the game running when i posted my query. When I came back all spore countdowns were down to 0. Laid down my command node. No reaction. Then built up a nullifier. still nothing but once I plopped down a colletor I got swarmed :)

Feature, spores don't target Command Nodes, ore mines, siphons, shields, sprayers, beams, snipers, nullifiers or Forge :)

Good tip. I knew some of those.

How about Guppies?
I think I've played a game where we had to remote power into a Forge using a Guppy.

Good to know! Might be able to take advantage of this on this map and then "jump" around.

i think spores target guppy pads but not the actual guppy... will have to go test that though cos now i am doubting it... ;) ;D
