You will never have a empty place to place your Command nodes. Since you have seen the resource packs grappled with prebuilt siphons, you might have an idea on how to get space for your command nodes :) You will have to fight 3 classes of spores in this fight. Solid spores, normal spores, and heavy spores... I have spent 10 mins 25 secs to complete this map. Tell me if you have beaten my score! This map is a puzzle - strategy - time trial. Waste anymore time and you are screwed by Imperator.

Hi . Sorry for the negativity ! Well if the story does not contain negativity it will lose a little of realism..

Tip : At the first step you have to force yourself to destroy resource packs so that you can get space to place your command nodes.

- I have indicated the area you can destroy them to get free space..

-You can see a prebuilt army on two islands. They indicate the place you start your invasion.

- You have to pause often as you attack the enemy on multiple fronts.

- Every 2 minutes , there is +/- 20 spores that will attack you.(Solidfied Spores ) They originate from the towers near the inhibitor.

They does not have strong payloads so that you can choose not to fire at them.

They sacrifice their payloads for their vitality so that you can never shoot any of them down.

You have to deactivate/activate your shields /beams at certain times...

This kind of enemy works to counter beams and shields..

They destroy collectors so that they can sever your network if you do not pay attention.

At 10 minutes.. Normal spores with payloads of +/- 2k creeper will launch along with the solidfied spores.

You have to let the solidfied spores hit you before you turn around to intercept the normal spores.

This map is more about defensive nature .. The enemy thrive in attempting to disrupt your network and your premise.

You cannot upgrade energy reserves but you will have TONS of aether to upgrade other aspects.

This is currently the tips I gave you..

I am sorry ! I will get a spoiler and a walkthrough soon ! Mate , I will come back to you if you spare me time.

You have to use nullifiers to destroy all 4 spore towers in one of your islands within 2 minutes.

If you fail to do so.. the towers will send one spore every second...with payload 50.

They have a potential to overrun you this way.

Sometimes you will be frustrated by resource packs blocking power zones or important positions..

You will have to build siphons and <Destroy resource pack> to get space at a cost of some energy.

You will have to heavily rely on reserves on the island throughout the invasion..

Time well .. you cannot forget to increase ur energy production or else your network will be paralyzed
When your islands run out of reserve energy...

It will take you a hard time to recover...

I saw some scores on my map..

Thanks for the low rating because I know what it means..

Those who managed to complete my map..

Please share your experiences !

My first map.. and I am curious to know !

Those who dun like my map .. I am grateful for your honesty.

One way to complete the map is to use pause every few seconds.... it helps a LOT here.

Destroying resource packs still leaves the gem behind, so as far as I know that doesn't help you make space to land a CN.

That's what I thought, but that is only if you use the "X" key.
If you select a Siphon on a Resource Pack, look in the text box at the bottom for the words "Destroy Resource Pack".

Never noticed that before, since who would ever want to do that?
;)

Many times in the past I wanted to destroy a resource pack that was in the way, and I never knew there was a way. So glad to learn this!!

Agreed; I've wanted to destroy resource packs before but didn't know you could, so whatever else about this map, learning this was at least a plus.  :)

I wasn't thinking too clearly when I made that last remark.
There was a map over the weekend that had Resource Packs blocking access to small islands. Had I known this trick then, I could have built a better network and had a better time.

Well nobody will want to destroy resource packs because it is purely a gain to the players in terms of resources.. They do not hinder players in many maps.

So, in this map, if they are so many resource packs and they happen to block your progress, will you still want to keep them ?

You won't heartbreak when you are forced to destroy them because you know you have a lot of spares :P

You have some resource packs with 50 , 250, 1000, and 2000 energy in the islands you are ambushing :)

I'm guessing everyone who's played this map (including the mapmaker) has moved on to other games by now but just in case...

This really isn't so much of a challenge as it is an annoyance. To destroy resource packs is annoying. Not being able to destroy spores... that's sorta annoying but ok, sure. Cannons fix that easily since the payload is so small.

What's really annoying is destroying the inhibitor @ 7 minutes only to realize the game isn't done yet. There are pickups on 3 islands and as you grab them, one in particular laughs at you and supposes that things are going badly. So I'm guessing the inhibitor was a bad placement because the game is over before there is any real threat.

I dunno, maybe I'm missing something. If you're looking for "expert" maps, I recommend looking elsewhere.
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?
