Certainly fitting for a Sorrontis challenge! I had two big random hits at 7 mins which wiped out all 20 reactors and my forge even with mortor and cannon cover all over my base. Instant quit! If the aim was to make something evil you have done a great job!  ;D

This is... interesting.

The forge can't be directly destroyed by the disturbances. In fact, if it gets hit, AC is released to help you preserve it.
To get the boss sending two disturbances at your units at the same time would require either three active shrines or having hit its shield, which seems impossible at 7 minutes, but you are a speedrunner I guess.
From that I can conclude that the attacks were from bombers, which means you had insufficient sniper coverage. They are entirely preventable.

Yeah, I think it was one of the energy ball things. Crept down the right hand side.

I am stuck at the end now though, how do you disable the shield?

Hmmm... it should have popped up with a conversation when the first shrine activated. If you missed it...

Lia: "Ahhhh... and the machinery grinds back to life."
Skars: "That's all well and good, but I'm not here to look at antiques. What do these things actually do?"
Lia: "Steady now... these shrines are weapons from a civilization I am not familiar with. They can store up a number of energy charges and release them at the Creeper in quick succession."
Lia: "More interestingly, these charges can also disrupt the shield surrounding the central structure, but we'll have to do a little work."
Lia: "For the charges to retain enough pure Abyssal Energy to break the shield, we can't just fling them through the air. We need a solid conducting medium."
Skars: "Get to work modifying the Terps to produce such a conductor. I'll build conduits leading from the shrines straight to the shield!"
Lia: "Already on it, Skars... but that shield is very powerful. I reckon we'll need at least four shrines to crack it, and slowly at that. More can only help, but that's taking away from our defenses."

Phew, got there in the end, monster of a map!

I'm almost there. Just gotta nuked it once the shield is down.
