I loved the idea (both the story and the strategy), I'd have given 10/10 if the map didn't have problems.

Huge problem: It was a horrible lagfest. The score would have gone well below 5 if the map concept had involved advancing through resistance after the initial breakthrough.
Minor issue: Those spores were just irrelevant, you win this long before they finish.

Suggestion for fixing the lagfest: Slash the amount of stuff on Skar's side by a factor of 10. It should still be easily winnable, even with reduced ether. To further reduce the CPU load, you can experiment with reducing resources further and test-play it until it becomes somewhat challenging - at that level it's probably going to be hard for anybody but you.

Suggestion for laughs: The spores are fine if you intended them to be a distraction from the real task at hand. You can add another challenge by cranking up the emitters to e.g. 1000 strength (unless the inhibitors are at that strength - I didn't look further when I saw the 500 at the emitters).
