Desc:
as true to the destruction volcanos are this map has a tight time scedual and major metor amounts , a very hard map but good for a major chalange use your gems wisly mortas are power hugry and youll need lots a beams fully loaded, your mines are set away from starting good luck youll need it

Trying to guess how D0minick got 15 minutes on this...there's plenty of digitalis to beat back and loads of runners as well as enough spores so I ended up with a slog along the ridges

I didn't get 15 minutes, but it's easy enough to establish at least two bases, one on top right and another near the totems on the left.  That speeds things up substantially. With more precise management, I suspect an additional base and better times can follow.

Yep, like Karsten said, bases top left and top right. Top right build down and left to the first ridge which is free of digitalis for quite a while, I used a terp for a small retaining wall. Top left take the spore and two nests before the digitalis arrives. Ore deposits and totems next priority before getting some berthas set up on PZs. Top right Base was responsible for building lots of reactors until I could connect the two bases. Then just spread out in every direction with berthas assisting.

Thanks gents for confirming that it's just remorseless aggressive execution. And nice to see that the entire CW3 community hasn't decamped to Particle Fleet  :)

Haha, yeah I'm afraid there's only a handful of regular users here now, a lot of the old names pop up now and again though. This is still my favourite game, I find it strangely relaxing in ways Pf isn't.
