A strange layout. Generally grabbers aren't used that close together, shields are inside the hull, as are tanks, ports are further forward than Guppies, and a no-cannon ship has armour.

Trading a few particle beams for armour excuses a multitude of flaws, however. This could, tweaked, become a good all-purpose design.
