A good map to try different aproaches. All tools are available. None of this "tie your hands" nonsense. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Dear lord, it's not that it's hard, it's just so big. I don't see any difficulty in the completion, it's just going to take a lot of time- wall clock time - to get around to all those emitters. I grabbed the crystals early , but had to go back to complete the Æther crystal.

Not sure my mental state is right for what's essentially a lot of complicated frog-leaps to move my offensive lines forward.

I agree with Karsten. I saw something about "Inhibitors" in the description so I figured the big ugly runners nest things are the closest things to inhibitor-looking objects in this map... so I worked diligently to kill the top one in about 10 minutes (I started at the top just for that reason). Wouldn't ya know there ARE no inhibitors in the map! Points off for false descriptions in the opening dialogue  :P

Oh, and points off for saying "your" in "Scanners indicate that your right."  :P

I'd love to have this same map condensed to about 1/4 the size so the threat would be more immediate and the victory would take a lot less time - the worst thing about big maps is having to slow down to 4x speed b/c the computer won't run it any faster.

Thanks for making the map and hope you'll make more!  :)

Thanks to both of you for your comments, and for showing me my mistakes.

I did make this particular map in a way, that I think allows you to adjust the difficulty, based on your starting position.

I love to turtle,(Hold off the Creeper and build up my tech and power, ect..) and then smash the crud out of the Creeper. Its too bad that the Creeper doesn't push back based on its depth, or this map would be more difficult. I will admit that I didn't look forward to the long "leap-frog" journey as much either. But once you get enough Anti-Creeper going, it goes pretty quick. But, most maps are like that, I think...Once you have a safe place to build an offense, the ending is rather quick and dull or long and duller...lol

The "inhibitors" should be whatever, the bombing protection thingys are called. lol and there should be at least a couple of them. I forget what they are called. Its been so long since I made these maps, that I'm not even sure I can fix the message errors. :(  I think I could fix the errors, but then I would have to play it again to re-up-load it, and I'm so not looking forward to that, atm. I should get around to it eventually anyway.

Don't call it "mistakes" - as a map maker you're entitled to make any map you wish. Speaking for myself, I only, like an art or movie critic - only express my own personal opinion of a map.  Often-times my opinion is not shared by a large number of players and a map is quite popular regardless of what I say. Just make maps you like. Share them and someone will play them. It's not a popularity contest. :)

Aye, agreed. And I was barely serious about the grammatical error. Yeah, that's a "mistake" but pshh... even world-renown editors (if they even exist) make mistakes occasionally. So no worries, mate! Honestly, I give ya thumbs up for even INCLUDING a dialogue, which most map-makers sadly just don't seem to do for some reason. So thanks for that!   ;)

As for the map I think you did a fine job with the concept. And I too love turtling - I find it's pretty essential if you never save games. I mean, what would you do if there were no second chances? You'd pick the safest route to victory right? So yeah, go turtlers!  ;D

Btw, the description you're looking for is an "Air-Exclusion Tower" if I remember right.
