Cool map! Plenty of things to do and a few sneaky starting options. If I were to nitpick I'd say that there might have been too many pickups.
Great to see another CW3 veteran making PF maps! :)

Thank you all for the feedback.

I participated in the alpha for particle fleet and found it to be an interesting experience to watch the game evolve as Virgil developed it. Once it was officially released I was at a busy time and didn't get to play it much. Then when I got back in to the game, I found there were hundreds of maps already released by the community! I have now played all the maps with a score higher than 7, and that means I've seen most of what the exchange has to offer. I took that as my signal that it was time to contribute a few maps of my own.

I really love the "mire all the land" kind of maps. I think they are my favorite. It has a "play as creeper" sort of vibe to it that I love. Also I really enjoy the ship-to-ship interactions and my next map will probably involve more of that. The best maps start off painfully slow and you have to very slowly build up a fleet and gain a foothold and then suddenly you have enough strength that you just plow through the enemies pretty quickly.

Some aspects of the game I'm still not sure on.

Reactors on ships: how much do they change things? I don't know if there's a way to know that yet.

Energy sources feeding enemy ships... if you cut off all energy sources, the ships continue to build. I'd like a game where you can cut off all energy sources to effectively stop the enemy from rebuilding.

I also love the flip emitters. Turning the enemy resources into your own weapons is satisfying!

Look for more maps from me in the future.  :)

You're back! Hurrah! I'll play this when I get time.

Great to see a map from you, took a while to get round to it but it was first on my list since THAT map  ;)

Really enjoyed this, I really often dislike Mire maps but the ending of this one was very rewarding, when the last bomb went off the blue swept across at pace bringing a very satisfying finale!

The game play was a lot of fun but a bit of a speed map for me, the enemy ships did very little and there was way to much energy from the mines let alone the extra energy at the bottom. The omni in my opinion is the most effective weapon in any game, way more dangerous than and MK7 if the map has land near emitters/builders. If you want to make a more challenging map restrict omni potential, 30+ allows for a very aggresive attack on a land based map.

Thanks for your comments, Dp. I'm glad you enjoyed the finale in the map. The satisfaction of watching the mire sweep the land was the reward I was hoping to give the player. I definitely look at this map as a speed map rather than a difficult challenge; that's typical of my style from the old PAC maps.

I appreciate your comments about the effectiveness of omnis. Good points!

I think my next map will be much harder but nowhere near as bad as THAT map!  ;D
