Omni Struc Sweeping

When you place an omni, it creates a 'ghost' that starts building.

If this ghost is placed onto/comes into contact with struc/particles, it is destroyed.

The behavior I am reporting is that this ghost destruction will cause damage to struc, no matter the progress of constuction.  This allows one to clear struc for free by spamming omni construction attempts.  In fact, due to the hold-and-drag omni construction feature, holding the button over struc will automatically clear a space the size of an omni.  This applies even to armored struc.

This behavior seemed inconsistent, as further testing showed that:
-While ghosts are destroyed by particles, this appears to have no effect on the particulate.
-Ghosts, as well as built omnis, do not appear to interact with enemy ship hulls at all.

So, feature or bug?  Thoughts?

GoodMorning

Definitely bug. Good catch, too.
A narrative is a lightly-marked path to another reality.

For particles and virtual particles the issue is only cosmetic.  There were explosion effects being made by particles that weren't taking any damage.  So it is a fireworks show if you try to build omnis on enemy particles, but the enemy particles aren't damaged.  That wasn't true for struc and you noticed...

The fix should go out in today's beta build (hopefully).
