Trying to make a map that is really fun to play, and looks nice. There is a few ways this can be played

Fun little map, Thanks for the work, and thanks for not making the start stupidly hard with over powered emmiters and 1 hit 1 kill particles.
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."

Great map with some very interesting mechanics: as the particles flows in streams, it cuts you ability to move ships around, separating the map into areas where you can move freely. Tactical interruptions of the particle stream allows for ship repositioning, and requres strategic decisions on where and when to interrupt the streams with your limited arsenal of skips.

At least that is what I thoght when I started the map, but after a while it kind of lost the charm. Taking the middle island wasn't that hard, thanks to quickly building lots of omnis there, and the second half of my playthrough felt a little too easy. None the less, a solid 8/10.
Why do work yourself, when you can write a program that will do the work for you.

Had a few ideas making this one - was originally going to focus on moving the HQ around

I didn't actually manage to get the middle island until after I'd killed the emitters - glad to know it can be taken!

I wasn't sure where to start on this one.
Spoiler
I started on the mine nearest to the island and used defensive struc, then sent omnis out from there until I had enough to take the center island. Then it was just a waiting game for the ships so I could take out the emitters.

I felt pretty lonely on this map, not having a base or a fleet. I also think it took a little too long to gather everything up. The use of fields was pretty cool, as it made the particles an obstacle rather than an enemy.

Nice map. But giving the lathe breaks the game....
