Enjoy :) As always please leave feedback on what you do/don't like.

Interesting... bunch of plays and a terrible rating :(

Anyone care to share why? Maybe something in the map didn't go as planned and I missed it.

I don't know why the rating is so low, it's a good map. I gave it an 8.

Started bottom right, sent three omnis over to capture the first crystal. Used this for rock burner and chopped off the bit with the cannon on so it wouldn't bother me. Got the second crystal and sent in kamikaze omnis to take out the enemy things on the rest of the bottom left island. This took a while and I could probably have done it more efficiently. Meanwhile, slowly took over the row of energy mines there. Defensive struc was very useful, especially when enemy ships came running in. They liked to kamikaze as well.

From there I took over the left middle flip emitters and energy mines. This took a while as the enemy ships liked to come in and flip them right back, but my firepower was superior so eventually I got that area owned. Then made my way through the center land structure, mostly with omnis. And then I went from top left to top right with heavy omni use and the occasional lathe ship to clean up. The final assault on the top right emitter was easy as I had enough firepower to nullify it.

Thanks for the feedback! Took forever to create so I was kinda disappointed by the score and no feedback :/

The ships that come from the upper left to the bottom left I intended to hopefully surprise you and re-secure that land and all the power for the AI... not sure if it worked on anyone ;) Cannons were originally flip-able but it made it way to easy.

Also sorry about the descriptions. Can't figure out how to modify it after it was already launched.

Oh, they did surprise me. But with exposed energy mines like that I give defensive struc a very high priority and park my lathes in it to help build it up. The ships fly straight over the mines so they blow up pretty fast. I did lose one or two mines each wave though, until I could place enough firepower.

Tough map. I've been enjoying it, but it plays pretty slow because of not having much energy.

I dropped my HQ in the middle and flipped the cannons right away, so they were no trouble, but I had to retreat to the bottom mine. I spent entirely too much time trying to get the bottom left series of mines. I finally flipped the emitters on the middle right and everything came together from there. I rock burned a lathe size hole so I could get that emitter on the bottom. I imagine everything will be pretty straightforward from here, but it's taking me a lot longer than I usually do on maps.
Edit: The enemy ships were also a good fight. They had good firepower but they also went down pretty easily if you have the right firepower

I liked your first map the best so far, but I also enjoy the added but mostly fair difficulty you are putting in your subsequent maps. Not sure what the person that gives your maps a 1 is thinking, they are all good and fun.

If you flip the lower left emitter first thing, collect the series of mines and then head to the bottom right you shouldn't have any power problems ;). I haven't really used that emitter to assist in beating the map but it has a decent output. What I really created it for was to give you a false sense of having enough power and then hopefully the AI stealing it back from you. Only works if you arent paying attention though :P

Hey, some thougths

I quite liked the beginning of the map but at the end i felt as there wasnt a rigth choice. With the large amount of struc and cannons sending omnis doesnt really work. Ships cant really deal with the cannons either. You also cant convert the cannons and the energy sources of the cannons are unreachable at this point so the only thing left to do is grind it out by slowly getting rid of struc and then taking over the land from some corners.

maybe thats a reason why it wasnt liked that much?

also hq dead = defeat keeps catching me of guard lol.
