Beating this map was a good lesson for me. I learned that I underestimated Strafers for their ability to destroy digitalis. Still, even with Strafers this map should be a decent challenge. (Expect my next maps to have restriction placed on Strafers, or more air denial towers mwuhahahaha)

Loved it once again, fantastic work.

No need for strafers. The trick here is to stop the digitalis from getting any further than a 1/3 down the map. If you can take the side islands quickly 2 mortors and a cannon on PZs are enough to do keep it at bay.

Martinuzz, first of all excellent job on this map. You should know I don't like runners & digitalis or having to spread out my attention on so many different avenues of attack. You should also know that out of the 1,000+ custom maps I've played I've given fewer than 20 of those maps a "10" rating. And yours is one of them. In fact, this is IMO in the top 5 of all "normal" maps I've played (most of my fav maps are CRPL or PAC).

Your spores were stunning. So precisely timed too! Everything going on from multiple islands to all sorts of stuff to deal with - I had to restart this a couple times and on the 3rd try finally broke down to pausing and saving the game occasionally. Great work! I definitely appreciate the work you put into this map!

Thanks mates! It's good to hear people are having fun. Meanwhile, It looks like people are finding it a difficult one to beat. 127 downloads, only 5 scores  ;D

Someone must have hated it, too. Ratings dropped from 10 (2 votes) to 5.71 (7 votes).

Okay, time for me to try and beat my next map. I think that's gonna be for tomorrow though.

Yeah don't worry about scores, all hard maps score poorly as people rage quit and score 1.

Your maps look spectacular, can't wait to give the new one a go!

Yup. When you make a map that the top 10% of players would define as "hard" a large percentage of the remaining 90% are going to define it as "impossible" and therefore hate your map.

I've come across a few maps I just can't seem to beat, while others can. The way I see it, on a map like that I'M the one who deserves a lower rating, not the map. It makes me want to learn more from the better players.

But in the meantime, it's virtually impossible to make a map that will please everyone. It will be either too hard or too easy.

It's like cramming everyone from 1st grade to post-graduate school and then trying to come up with a class from which everyone can derive a benefit. Good luck with that.  ;)
