Script under.  :)
Don't nullify these enemy units or you can't win.

Nice map, but if I didn't read forum, I wouldn't know the victory condition. And creeper flow was toooooo slow. Even after CNs were in orbit, I had to wait like 30 game-minutes.

Vanguard

Not meaning to be overly negative, but why the confusing CRPL when you could have at least taken ten minutes to write a short explanation in game. If you go through all the hazzle, going the extra mile would pay off tremendously.

I liked the concept as finding the most effective way to lose the fastest  :D

I agree with Vanguard though, you should probably pop in some clear instructions with your maps.

SetUnitSelectableOverride is useful one. And yeah , instructions could also prevent rating 1:s?

I liked this fresh idea.

I don't think it should be repeated, though. It is too specialized for that.

O man how do you win? i heard dont nulify the creepers buildings
Hi, I am a Bible believing christian.

You need help creeper to take down your buildings to win. Try terping terrain 10 walls down and destroying your units you can destroy.

Interesting idea but a bit buggy. I use the mouse and drag to select units. I found I could regularly select the fixed units and just fly them into trouble, most of the time I could not select them.

The main challenge was at the end, spores don't appear to target ore mines so unless you use a terp to target the spore (or build collectors next to the mines) you end up with the 30 minute wait for completion as mentioned.

Finally a loser. Man the last time I played lowball was with a deck of cards. I've spent too much time on this map. First I killed the enemy, nothing happened. Second I killed the enemy and myself, nothing happened. Third time I said let me see. I know you said #losetowin but wasn't exactly sure what that meant. I don't know how anybody lost in less than 20 minutes or won whatever. If you do this again at least put the creeper on a hill so it can flow down and kill everybody.

You have to do all the things you would normally not do. What I did was:

  • build terps to lower the wall
  • terp a wall around cannons and sprayers
  • energy starvation: build numerous guppies to fly into creeper. When they explode the energy is gone.

How could I do this idea less specialized? :)
Any idea anybody?

Edit:If I do new map with same idea , I will prevent players using build menus with  GetCurrentBuildTab and ShowMessage.

Just disable the units you don't want players to build.
Add a near-infinite/regenerating energy crystal.
Add something that forces player to engage the creeper in certain places or to direct it with shields.
Make a CRPL unit that requests packets and makes creeper in return.
Like the 'impossible to lose' map I lost, make players actively waste AC.
Add a creeper sink that removes all creeper from it's cell every frame.
Just make sure you can't lose without doing anything or when only doing non-creeper related things.
I might even use this concept sometime with some of the ideas above...

Lol , I almost dropped off my chair , when I understand there is unit limits menu build in game.  ;D
Energy + ore crystal sounds very good idea , also these other ideas are nice. :WOW
If this is like help creeper mode and similar to PAC mode , could PAC maps have nice ideas to use?  8)
